Simplified Spectral Measurements
OptoFlash incorporates high-performance ODiate™ and Stabilife® optical filters sealed within the spectrometer engine, directly coupled to a high-sensitivity Silicon photodiode array in a miniature package to provide spectral demultiplexing and detection in a single, plug-in component. The simplified optical detection path designed for low stray light, improves signal measurements and optimizes system linearity, simultaneously detecting each wavelength with negligible channel-to-channel crosstalk.
Ultra-compact Size
Weighing only 30 grams with dimensions of 51mm (L) x 16mm (W) x 25mm (H), the ultra-compact size of OptoFlash with no moving parts delivers the perfect solution for OEM instrument manufacturers seeking to minimize the size and weight of their analytical instruments.
Low Noise Mode
Operating in Low Noise Mode with 0 volt bias, detector dark current of < 10 pA, detector rise time of < 1.2 µsec, full-device linearity >OD4, and stray light average >OD5 (OD3.5 minimum) are achieved.
High Speed Mode
Operating in High Speed Mode with 10 volt bias, detector dark current of < 50 pA, detector rise time of < 0.3 µsec are achieved enabling measuring times ranging from 33ms with linearity ≥OD3.5 to 23 ms with linearity ≥OD2.5
Field-Proven OEM Reliability
OptoFlash devices are field-proven incorporated into analytical instruments making thousands of critical measurements daily. OptoFlash is trusted by leading analytical companies worldwide.
Excellent Temperature Stability
OptoFlash devices maintain full spectral fidelity over a range of -20° C to +60° C eliminating the need for special cooling components that are sometimes required in instruments where alternate wavelength discrimination methods are used.
Wavelength Configuration Options
OptoFlash spectrometer engines can be configured with filters of any wavelength from 340 nm to 900 nm. More than 50 standard wavelength options are available to select enabling rapid prototyping of custom devices. Custom wavelengths and bandwidths are routinely manufactured as additional spectral optimization as required.
Channel Count Configuration
OptoFlash devices can be configured with as many as discrete 10 wavelength channels per device. Channels are defined by individual bandpass filters with nominal 8nm bandwidths. For applications where more than 10 channels are required, we design multiple-device configurations with the necessary beam steering optics.
